Introduced Quota Limits

This week we rolled out quota limits for the number of replicas each user has access to. You'll notice better visibility on the active replicas you're running and what % of your capacity is in use.

All new users have a limit of 5 replicas to start with, but you can request more. Existing users have a 10 replica quota by default.

Why did we introduce a quota? Primarily for reliability. In the past, a new user could sign up to Banana and slam our servers with traffic to the point where it affects latency and capacity of our other users. This protects our user's traffic from those occurrences.

We're very happy to increase quota for our users, so if you need access to more than 10 replicas please request more and we'll fulfill this for you.

Major Reliability Fixes, Speed up Next

Our engineering team has been hard at work behind the scenes making big-time reliability upgrades. We know our inference speed has to get faster too, that is our next focus. First step was better reliability and consistency.

Terms of Service Agreement

Introduced a new terms of service agreement for all Banana users.
